iNTCCM Foundation Certification in Configuration Management

The International Certified Configuration Manager Association, iNTCCM, was founded in April 2006 in Denmark. The association membership includes Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.

The president of the association is Anne Mette Jonassen Hass from DELTA, Denmark.

The objective of iNTCCM is to provide a qualification scheme in order to gain recognition for configuration management as an essential and professional IT discipline.

The qualification scheme is aimed at anyone directly involved in configuration management. This means all active in specific configuration management roles such as CM-managers, -librarians, or -consultants. Also people involved in development and usage of components under configuration management during development, verification and validation activities, and during deployment/operations of those components, as project managers, quality managers, software development managers, business analysts, IT directors and management consultants will benefit from the course based on this qualification scheme.

Holders of the certificate will be able to take the next step to practitioner level configuration management qualifications. These qualifications will provide a more indepth configuration management knowledge on specific subjects, roles, or specific life-cycle phases or subjects. The practitioner levels foreseen, though not yet implemented are Practitioner level Software Configuration Manager and Practitioner level Configuration Manager.

The course will be taught in English, and all material and the examination will also be in English

Examination
It is a one-hour multiple question examination. The exam is held by iSQI.
